As a food reviewer for Restaurant World, I was particularly captivated by the friendly and welcoming atmosphere at Rail Hop'n. From the moment I arrived, the warmth of the staff and patrons evoked a sense of community. Whether you’re stopping by with your furry friend—it's a dog-friendly venue—or seeking a spot to enjoy a game or two, Rail Hop'n is perfect for everyone.
The extensive seating arrangements and games, including board games and arcade golf, offer something for everyone, enhancing the overall experience. One review noted the proprietor's engaging personality and willingness to share creative drink recipes, adding a personal touch to the already inviting vibe.
While enjoying the atmosphere, I couldn’t resist sampling some of the food. The BBB Chicken pizza was decent, but my standout favorite was the Triple Dick—a delightful twist on chips and salsa, featuring chunky salsa paired with wonderfully smoky queso and fresh guacamole. However, a small suggestion for enhancement would be to serve the chips warm for that perfect crunch.
The local craft brewery experience at Rail Hop'n is bolstered by the knowledgeable bartenders who not only serve excellent drinks but also forge connections with their regulars. As noted by one guest, the personal interactions add a special touch to visits, making you feel right at home.
Furthermore, the brewery hosts various events, creating opportunities for fun and engagement within the community. Whether you’re there to play cribbage or just unwind with friends over a pint, every aspect of Rail Hop'n is crafted with love and intention.

Dog friendly brewery with lots of seating and friendly people all around! Will definitely stop by again :)

Great food and drinks! Love the new space it's a lot bigger and has a lot of activities. The workers are really nice and they host events which is fun!! They have speciality wine cocktails and their fall ones were delicious! We can't wait to try their winter ones!

Great local craft brewery. Friendly, knowledgeable bar keep. Great comfortable old-timey railroad theme. I will definitely be a regular. Bar food selections are a bit limited at this time.

Very friendly place with great vibe and a nice game selection! Great homemade taps and family friendly too!

Pub food: BBQ Chicken pizza was okay. The Triple Dick - their version of chips & salsa (very chunky like I like), queso (my favorite - had a tiny bit of smoke which was surprising and notably good), and guacamole. I wish the chips were warmed as that would be the bomb! We were served by the proprietor who was kind, patient and funny. He also shared a dragon fruit based shake recipe that his daughter came up which was amazingly good and made with two different kinds of seltzers - who knew? This place is open, inviting and definitely lets you know it's a brewery, dog friendly, relaxing and fun. If you are in downtown Auburn, stop by!

Definitely a cool spot to grab a drink and love the theme! The bartender told me they are moving locations to increase the size and will be three blocks away. Currently they are out of a few things (beer and food) because of the planned move. I still give this place 5 stars. They had board games, card games, dart boards and arcade golf. Outdoor seating was decent. Service was great

The highest level of excellence is what my feeling of coming here was like. This is your neighborhood brewery/hang out space Auburn!! Well designed and well thought out layout that absolutely will charm your way in and invite you to stay for the many selections of beer and games. This place is a labor of love and it shows in every aspect and every corner of this place. We came on a weekend afternoon and so glad we did. We were able to play some cribbage, drink through a variety of beer options. I'm personally excited about the cribbage tournaments that they host. There are a few options for some bites too. Definitely will be back!

Cute little place with a family vibe. Bartender was the father in law of the owner. He was very passionate about the business. He knew the regulars by name and was very friendly. We parked a couple of blocks away just because that was the closest we could fine. Definitely give them a try!

Checking in from Auburn, WA! Let's mix this review up a bit. Give the readers information to let them make an informed decision. Downtown has a small city feel. I feel pretty safe compared to larger cities. It's right by the train tracks, hence the name. It's a small place with a large selection. Its kind of a mix between seltzer, IPAs, and jalapeño flavored. My particular drink was the Stack Haze. Not bad, and I usually don't drink IPAs. Give them a try, smaller place, 2 bathrooms, and a friendly bartender.
